Matching Word, PowerPoint and Excel business documents: inspect a sample pack

A letter, a slide deck and an invoice should use the same business name, logo and contact details. Before adopting a document tool, inspect what it actually exports and whether you can edit those files in your usual software.

I built Emblem to turn a logo, brand colors and business details into coordinated documents. Here is a free sample pack made with SpiritBox branding so you can inspect the output before installing the app.

What is inside?

These are actual Emblem exports with sample SpiritBox details. Microsoft Office is not included. You need compatible document software to open and edit them. The sample ZIP does not require installing Emblem.

Check these four things before using a document pack

  1. Identity: compare the business name, logo and contact details across all three files. Replace the sample branding before using the documents for your own business.
  2. Editing: change a heading, a paragraph and an invoice line in copies of the samples. Save and reopen each file in the software you intend to use.
  3. Layout: try a long business name or a longer line of text. Inspect the result and print preview for clipping or awkward page breaks.
  4. Invoice details: review currency, dates, line items, formulas and totals yourself. A document template does not establish that an invoice meets your accounting or tax requirements.

These are checks for your own workflow, not a claim that every editor and document variation has been qualified.

Do you need Emblem?

If you only need one document, Microsoft's free pre-built templates may be enough. Emblem is an option when you want to generate a coordinated set using your own logo and business details.

Emblem is Windows 11 x64 portable Early Access. No payment is required. Optional contributions support development. The current build is unsigned and has not been qualified on a separate clean PC. Review the source and publisher before running it. Compatible document software is required to use the exported Office files.
